“Exploring the Regions of Japan”

For kids entering1^st – 8^th grade in Fall 2010

Activities include:

Introduction to Buddhism & Japanese language

Taiko drumming, Japanese songs & Martial Arts,

Japanese food, crafts & games

Japanese American culture

Visit to Keiro nursing home

Matsuri class showcase & performances

Registration begins March 7 for temple and BCA members; March 14 is open registration for all. Forms will be available on website www.seattlebetsuin.com Parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer. Sponsored by the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple Dharma School. Class size is limited so timely registration is encouraged. A wait list will start after 14 students. Tuition: $185, $135 *church member, $35 off w/Volunteer 5 hrs. (*church member is a parent with current paid membership to a BCA temple.)
